For the third consecutive year, the Antibes Yacht Show heralds the opening of the Mediterranean yachting season with this landmark event held in Europe's largest yacht harbour.
Having already doubled its capacity last year, the 2009 event innovates again with new facilities and services, and additional show space with more in-water spots and exhibition stands representing the French and international yachting industry
(C-6 fluoroketone) is liquid at room temperature and looks and acts very much like water; but it’s not wet, so you can immerse objects in it without them absorbing the fluid. That makes it perfect for putting out fires without damaging property, which is achieved via its cooling effect due to rapid evaporation. Unlike other halogenated fire suppression agents, however, the fluid has zero ozone depletion potential and the lowest atmospheric lifetime for halocarbon alternatives: 5 days. It also has a Global Warming potential of 1; this is 99.9% lower than any halocarbon agent acceptable for use in occupied spaces.. Finally it appears to be non-toxic and easy to handle.
